Challenge
The local planning authority, Derby City Council, wanted a tile with a natural slate appearance for much needed homes in the areas of Spondon, Alvaston and Chaddesden.
Solution
The Moray was chosen due to the substantial cost savings compared to natural slate. The interlocking tile has a thin leading edge and a riven finish so that it provides a full authentic appearance
Result
The Moray gave the planners exactly the look they were after and the tiles were supplied and installed with ease. The new home are in high demand due to their location and high specification finish
